What we offer
We design drainage around foundations, basements and retaining walls to keep water out of the building, sizing the pipes, chambers and outfall.
What we design
- Perimeter drains around foundations
- Drainage behind retaining walls
- Under-slab drainage for basements
- Drainage and inspection chambers
- Drainage pump chambers where gravity discharge is not possible
Outfall
Drainage water is led by gravity to storm drainage, an open watercourse or a soakaway on the plot. Where that is not possible, we design a drainage pump chamber.
What we need from you
- Geotechnical report with the groundwater level
- Architectural and structural design of the substructure
- Topographic survey
Regulatory framework
Designs are prepared in line with Bulgarian legislation, including:
- Ordinance No. 4 of 2001 on the scope and content of investment projects
- Ordinance No. 4 of 2005 on building water supply and sewerage installations
- Spatial Development Act
Frequently asked questions
When is drainage needed?
With high groundwater, clay soils, buildings on slopes and basements below ground level. The geotechnical report shows whether and what drainage is needed.
Isn't waterproofing enough?
Waterproofing protects the structure from moisture, while drainage relieves the water pressure on it. With high groundwater the two work together.
