What we offer
We design water service connections and meter chambers for new and existing buildings – route, diameter, meter assembly and chamber detail – and support the approval with the water utility. See also service connections.
What the design includes
- Site plan with the route from the water main to the meter chamber
- Diameter sized to the required flow
- Meter assembly – meter, isolating valves, check valve, strainer
- Meter chamber detail – dimensions, cover, drainage
- Specification and bill of quantities
Meter chamber requirements
- Located on the property, accessible for reading and maintenance
- Large enough to fit and replace the meter

- Location and meter type follow the water utility's conditions
When you need a design
- A new connection to the water main
- Moving the meter out of the building into a chamber

Regulatory framework
Designs are prepared in line with Bulgarian legislation, including:
- Ordinance No. 4 of 2004 on connecting users to water and sewerage systems

- Ordinance No. RD-02-20-2 of 2024 on water supply systems
Frequently asked questions
Where should the meter chamber be?
Usually on the property close to the street boundary, accessible to the water utility. The exact position follows the utility's connection conditions.
Do I need a design to move the water meter?
Yes. Moving the meter or relocating it to a chamber changes the service connection and must be agreed with the water utility.
