What we offer
We design drainage for houses, residential, commercial and industrial buildings – the internal installation, the on-site network and the link to the street sewer through a sewer service connection.
What we design
- Foul drainage – stacks, branches and ventilation
- Storm drainage – roof outlets, downpipes, gullies
- Industrial drainage and pre-treatment
- Grease and oil separators
- On-site drainage network with inspection chambers
- Sewage pump sets for basements below the street sewer
Where there is no public sewer
We design a sealed cesspool or a local treatment plant in line with municipal and river basin authority requirements, including the discharge of treated water.
Sizing
Pipes are sized to the flows and falls under Ordinance No. 4 of 2005, so the system runs without blockages or odours.
Regulatory framework
Designs are prepared in line with Bulgarian legislation, including:
- Ordinance No. 4 of 2005 on building water supply and sewerage installations
- Ordinance No. RD-02-20-8 of 2013 on sewerage systems
- Ordinance No. 4 of 2004 on connecting users to water and sewerage systems
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between foul and storm drainage?
Foul drainage carries wastewater from sanitary fittings, storm drainage carries water from roofs and paving. Many places require the two to be kept separate.
Can a basement drain by gravity?
Only if the basement floor is safely above the street sewer level. Otherwise we design a sewage pump set and backflow protection.
